كشفت تقارير صحفية إنجليزية أن نادي مانشستر يونايتد توصل إلى اتفاق مع أحد لاعبي فريق بايرن ميونخ، لضمه في موسم الانتقالات الصيفي الحالي.

ووفقًا لصحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية، فإن بنجامين بافارد مدافع بايرن ميونخ توصل إلى اتفاق شفهي للانضمام إلى مانشستر يونايتد هذا الشهر.

وكان مانشستر يونايتد قد أبدى رغبته في ضم قلب دفاع جديد في الميركاتو الصيفي الجاري، مع اقتراب رحيل هاري ماجواير.

ومع رحيل كل من فيل جونز، أكسيل توانزيبي، واقتراب مغادرة إريك بايلي، لم يتبق سوى فيكتور ليندلوف كبديل لثنائي الدفاع رفاييل فاران وليساندرو مارتينيز.

وأشارت “ميرور” إلى أن إريك تين هاج، مدرب مانشستر يونايتد أبدى إعجابه بـ بافارد خاصة مع قدرته على اللعب في مركز الظهير الأيمن وقلب الدفاع.

ورغم أن بافارد بدأ مباراة السوبر الألماني، يوم السبت الماضي ضد لايبزيج، إلا إنه قد يرحل عن “الأليانز آرينا” في الفترة القادمة لينهي إقامته مع بايرن ميونخ التي دامت 4 سنوات.

He shared two crucial stands – 26 runs for third wicket with K Rohan and 29 runs for the sixth wicket with captain Nihal Ullal – to ensure Jain crossed the 100-mark and post a competitive 120 on the board.RLA responded with a rapid start as captain Devender Yadav scored three boundaries in the first couple of overs, but his dismissal in the second over slowed the innings down. RLA could only manage 18 runs in the next 5.4 overs and lost two more wickets. Amit Beru and Vishal Tiwari fought back with a 34-run stand for the fourth wicket. However, the innings collapsed once Beru was dismissed after a 34-ball 32. RLA lost their last seven wickets for 40 runs to be knocked out of the tournament. R Prabhakar accounted for three wickets while A Majid and Suchith Jagadeesh took two wickets apiece.

Bangladesh batsman Nasir Hossain and bowler Abdur Razzak have both defended their form ahead of the ICC World Twenty20 after they received criticism for their recent performances in the ODIs.Nasir has made just 140 runs in seven innings this year, and is going through his longest streak without a fifty in ODIs, while Razzak managed just two wickets in the last three games.Nasir, though, has said he doesn’t feel out of form and he is trying to get out of a mental rut. “From where I bat, I don’t get chance to bat long,” he said. “My strike-rate has to be more than 100. If I am defending 10 off 20 balls, it brings pressure. These things happen to everyone. I have made 30 or 40 odd in the last game, but I think my form is okay.”I think I am having a good enough time. You may think otherwise. I think it can happen, not scoring runs in a few matches. I am trying to get out of this. I think the media talks more than the people. I thought ‘I have to perform, people are talking,’ so probably that put some pressure on me.”When Nasir was first picked, the then chief selector Akram Khan had said his strength was to bat according to the situation. Nasir, too, reiterated that, saying his job was to stay around till the end without worrying about goals.”I can’t set a goal. Bangladesh Women first scored their highest Twenty20 total, then upended Sri Lanka’s Women’s steadily progressing chase, to steal a three-run win – their first in the World T20.This was the two teams’ last match of the tournament, and Bangladesh chose to bat. They tended to lose wickets in pairs all through the innings, but with Rumana Ahmed – who came in in the seventh over – holding up one end in a brisk, unbeaten innings of 41, they were able to make their way to their record total.However, when Sri Lanka were 67 for 2 and needed just about a run a ball, it looked like even that would not be enough. That’s when the set Yasoda Mendis was run out, and Bangladesh didn’t let the opening go to waste. Medium pacer Panna Ghosh struck twice in the 15th over, and with the required rate rising, Bangladesh applied the squeeze, striking in every over from the 18th onwards. Sri Lanka managed only two boundaries in these last overs, and Bangladesh held their nerve to pull off the heist.

Além de ser válida pela Copa do Brasil, a estreia de Jorge Jesus pelo Flamengo terá outro ingrediente: será disputada no gramado sintético da Arena da Baixada. O técnico português, já ciente da condição especial que enfrentará atuando em Curitiba, fez críticas e comentou como será a preparação do time.

– A realidade é essa, vamos jogar em um campo sintético. Poucos treinadores no mundo têm essa experiência. Dirigi um jogo pela Champions, na Rússia, e é completamente diferente. Temos que nos adaptar. Vamos fazer alguns treinos, mas temos que ser cuidadosos pois essa troca pode até gerar lesões – afirmou.
