كشف إيهاب الكومي عضو مجلس إدارة الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم، عن تلقي مجلس الجبلاية ردًا من وزارة الشباب والرياضة، بشأن أزمة المدرب البرتغالي روي فيتوريا المدير الفني السابق لمنتخب مصر.

وكان الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم، قد فسخ عقد فيتوريا بعد توديع منتخب مصر كأس أمم إفريقيا الأخيرة 2023، وطالب المدرب البرتغالي بالحصول على الشرط الجزائي المنصوص عليه في عقده.

وقال الكومي خلال تصريحات لبرنامج “بلس 90” المذاع على قناة “النهار”: “الوزارة منحتنا الفتوى القانونية لدفع الشرط الجزائي لفيتوريا وهو راتب 3 أشهر”.

وأضاف: “يوجد تواصل بين وليد العطار المدير التنفيذي بـ اتحاد الكرة ومحامي المدير الفني وسيتم غلق هذا الملف”.

وعن التحقيق مع لاعب بيراميدز محمد الشيبي بشأن أزمته مع حسين الشحات لاعب الأهلي، أوضح: “طالما الموضوع مفتوح الأمل موجود في الصلح، لأننا في مجال رياضي ونرفزة الملعب موجودة، اليوم امتثل الشيبي للتحقيق في لجنة الانضباط مع عدد من المحاميين، وطلبوا تأجيل التحقيق لحين الاطلاع”.

وأكمل: “القاضي لم يجد مبررًا لذلك، واستمع لأقوال اللاعب والمحاميين، وبعد ذلك سيقول القاضي رأيه القضائي والقانوني ويعرضه على المجلس وسيتم إعلان الأمر خلال الـ10 أيام القادمة”.

وكانت لجنة الانضباط في اتحاد الكرة استدعت المغربي محمد الشيبي من أجل الخضوع للتحقيق معه والامتثال بشأن الشكوى المقدمة من الأهلي ضده وذلك بعد لجوئه إلى المحاكم المدنية في أزمته مع حسين الشحات.

Whilst their pursuit of Harvey Barnes was well-documented, with the Lilywhites even reportedly submitting a joint bid for both him and James Maddison, in the end it was only the latter who ended up joining the north London outfit.

Ange Postecoglou was forced to miss out on the wide man, who instead joined Newcastle United in a move totalling £39m. This marked a hefty sum for the 25-year-old, but one Spurs could blow out the water should alternative reports be true.

Whilst it was only suggested late last month, those at N17 likely remain interested in signing Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest, even if the Tricky Trees value him at an astronomical £50m fee.

Although far less experienced at the top level than their earlier target, his ceiling remains so high, whilst he boasts all the physical assets to be a real star for Spurs.

How many goals has Brennan Johnson scored for Nottingham Forest?

As the Garibaldi geared up for their first top-flight campaign since 1998, many likely assumed they would struggle despite their vast incomings.

They spent over £168m and brought in 29 players across both the summer and winter windows last year, and yet somehow Steve Cooper managed to forge a functioning team out of all the egos to keep them in the division.

However, arguably the most impressive feat throughout it all was that young Johnson retained his starting spot, despite players like Emmanuel Dennis, Andre Ayew, Taiwo Awoyini and Morgan Gibbs-White all joining in positions similar to his.

In fact, the 22-year-old featured in every single one of their league games, scoring eight and assisting a further three as a second striker or off the right flank. This brought his tally for the club up to 29, having assisted 12.

This marked an outstanding return given the turmoil that surrounded the club throughout the campaign, which journalist Antonio Mango had expected, praising him the year prior as a "real handful".

Whilst these were figures surpassed by Barnes, who instead scored 13 and assisted only once in the league, he has spent far longer in the top flight than his potential alternative. Also, it is perhaps worth mentioning that the 25-year-old did still succumb to the drop, with his goals not enough to save his side.

Conversely, Johnson arguably fired his team to safety, with his brace against Everton and Leicester City, and the only goal in their win over Leeds United seeing them take valuable points from relegation rivals.

Despite that, FBref still references the former Foxes star on the Wales international's 'similar players' list, to emphasise their similarities. The fact that they recorded a 15% and 18% goal conversion rate respectively helps to further outline their shared clinical nature from the flank too.

Already clearly a big-game player despite his youth, and with a vital year of experience at the elite level under his belt, perhaps now is the perfect time for Postecoglou to take him under his wing and mould him in his image.

ولم يدخل بايرن ميونخ في أي مفاوضات رسمية مع تين هاج ولكن تم إعلامه بأن النادي مهتم به خاصة وأنه كان يقود الفريق الثاني منذ سنوات عديدة.

ويحظى تين هاج بتقدير كبير داخل بايرن ميونخ، لكنه واثق من البقاء في مانشستر يونايتد كما أكد في حواره الأخير مع جاري نيفيل لاعب الشياطين الحمر الأسبق.

ولكن تين هاج ليس المرشح الوحيد على قائمة بايرن ميونخ هناك أكثر من خيار ولكن لم يحسم النادي الألماني الاسم حتى الآن.

Although there was only 25.3 overs’ play at Wantage Road on the third day of this game the cricket never wanted for intensity or purpose. Needing a further 281 runs to beat Northamptonshire and thereby settle the promotion issues in Division Two, Nottinghamshire had reduced that requirement to 207 when the umpires brought the players off for bad light just before lunch. Rain set in during the afternoon.Yet in making their modest progress the visitors had lost only their nightwatchman, Luke Wood, who for the second time in the match had fulfilled his primary duty on the evening of one day and then completed useful innings of 44 on the morning of the next. In addition Wood has taken four wickets in each innings, thus making this contest something of a numerophile’s delight in addition to its weightier fascinations.Wood is developing into a substantial cricketer. Poor results against Cardiff City and Birmingham City have left them winless in the Championship, with their lack of focal point proving a huge vacancy that needs an immediate solution.

"With Archer, what's interesting is that he's been made for sale now. So there is an opportunity to do that deal. He's had a couple of good loan spells in the Championship including with Middlesbrough and now, Aston Villa are willing to let him go.

"I think that he put himself in the short window with I believe, a couple of goals and an assist at the under 21 Euros for England.

"He also scored plenty of goals he got into double figures for Middlesbrough last season and I think that was only in about 20-odd appearances and he added several assists on top of that.

"So that can be one to watch because Aston Villa are now prepared to sell him. Leeds are one of the clubs no doubt Middlesbrough are another. So I would expect movement on Archer between now and the end of the window."

How many goals has Cameron Archer scored?

Despite being only 21 years old, the young frontman has already earned himself a fine reputation as a clinical asset at every level he has experienced.

Three goals and two assists in four Premier League 2 matches during the 2021/22 season earned him his spell on loan, which he took with both hands at Preston North End. He scored seven times in 20 outings during that Championship term and would return to that level the year prior with Middlesbrough.

It was here where he truly stood out though, scoring 11 and assisting a further six across just 20 league matches. Such blistering form drew praise from Football Talent Scout Jacek Kulig, who labelled him "incredibly prolific". With 45 career goals across various levels already, this is a claim more than supported.

The £20k-per-week marksman has everything that is missing at Elland Road right now, with that lack of focal point arguably transforming into Farke's biggest issue at the moment despite initial fears surrounding their backline.

Archer would offer speed, pace, power and a presence in the number nine spot, to help get their faltering campaign back on track.

Against the Bluebirds Leeds enjoyed 72% of the ball and created three big chances, yet were forced to wait until added time to salvage a point. Then, against the Blues, they could not convert their 59% possession into tangible opportunities, falling to defeat after a late penalty was converted for the hosts.

The first of those games were played without a starting striker on the pitch, whilst the young and unproven Joe Gelhardt struggled to make his mark in the second.

However, it is not just a quality issue but also a quantity one, as their most recent fixture also saw them name just eight substitutes, two of which were goalkeepers. Not only do they need high-quality talent, but they also need plenty of it to bulk out a squad ravaged by relegation.

Archer would offer that and more, coming in to offset the injuries and absences left by Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo amongst others, and providing a foundation for them to finally get their promotion push started.

O atacante não só ajudou a mudar o panorama da partida, como também marcou o terceiro gol, que selou a vitória.

O assistente corintiano elogiou atuação relevante do jovem de 22 anos no triunfo por 3 a 1 na última quarta-feira e explicou as características que fazem dele uma peça interessante para o elenco do Alvinegro neste momento, especialmente pela maratona de jogos que virá pela frente na temporada 2020.

-O Gustavo já vem sendo acompanhado, como outros atletas que estão emprestados pelo clube. ومن المقرر أن يلتقي الأهلي مع الترجي التونسي في إياب نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا، على ملعب استاد القاهرة الدولي، يوم السبت الموافق 25 من مايو الجاري.

Nottingham Forest's pursuit of Sevilla defender Gonzalo Montiel has been well-documented and a big update has now emerged, courtesy of journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Who is Gonzalo Montiel?

The 26-year-old was something of an unknown amongst British football fans until relatively recently, even though he was a perfectly solid performer for Sevilla, having arrived at the La Liga side from River Plate back in 2021.

That all changed at the 2022 World Cup, however, as he tasted glory with Argentina, famously stroking home the winning penalty in the shootout victory over France in the final. It was a truly iconic moment for the country, as they won the competition for the first time since 1986, and it etched Montiel's name into Argentine folklore forever.

At club level, a move away from Sevilla – where he makes £20k-per-week – has looked increasingly likely this summer, however, and it is Forest who have emerged as the strong favourites to snap him up for some time now.

The Reds are still looking for defensive reinforcements and the right-back has stood out as a good option to battle the likes of Serge Aurier and Neco Williams for playing time this season, allowing Steve Cooper to rotate his squad and keep it fresh the longer the campaign goes on.

Now, a fresh update has emerged – one that suggests Montiel could be announced as a Forest player sooner rather than later, as the City Ground welcomes yet another new face to the club.

Will Nottingham Forest sign Gonzalo Montiel?

Taking to Twitter, Romano provided a significant update regarding the Reds' move for Montiel this summer, with the transfer now very close to being completed and medical potentially on the cards imminently:

"Nottingham Forest are closing in on Gonzalo Montiel deal – agreement on personal terms being finalised then medical on Monday. Deal will cost €11m (£9.4m), as @CLMerlo has reported."

This is great news for Forest, at a time when they need to build on last season's Premier League survival and become a genuinely established top-flight club again, rather than finding themselves battling for their lives come the spring.

While Montiel may not be the most explosive of full-backs, he is an experienced head with lots of defensive nous, having made 72 appearances for Sevilla and won 23 caps for Argentina, scoring once for his country, aside from his aforementioned penalty heroics last winter.

That moment back in December may have given him an extra winning mentality – he also scored the winning spot-kick in last year's Europa League final – which should stand him in good stead and possibly impact on the squad's mentality when he arrives, with World Cup winners a rare commodity in football.

Montiel could come in as a less flamboyant but more solid alternative to Aurier at right-back, having averaged 1.5 clearances and 1.3 tackles per game in last season's Champions League, as well as registering three assists in La Liga in 2022/23.

These are exactly the kind of signings that will make Forest strong moving forward, and at 26, there is no reason why the defender can't be a key man for the next five or six years.
